SSA, Xaioxaio Corbell, has dropped their membership from the group due to time constraints that prevent them from attending. If you know another CPA firm that would be interested in joining the group, please invite them to breakfast so we can meet them!
Tom announced this morning that Eloise Hastings has to withdraw their membership. Eloise’s husband is facing some pretty serious health complications from his recent knee surgery and is anticipating a year for his recovery, which puts Eloise in the helm managing their business. They are interested in joining the group again once past this situation. We send our heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery.
We are still focused on growth in 2026 and got some fantastic new category suggestions not represented. If you made one of those suggestions and know someone in that category, please reach out to them and invite them to a meeting.

| Perkins | Grant Thornton Advisors is acquiring CBIZ, Inc. It is reported to be a $5 billion all cash deal. The acquisition represents the largest transaction in the accounting and professional services sector in over 25 years. They plan to conclude the deal in the 4th quarter of 2026. They will handle core accounting, tax, and advisory divisions while the CBIZ Benefits and Insurance Services segment will be spun off to an independent, standalone company backed by New Mountain Capital. |
