Prospector Association Board of Directors
Chairman of the Board: John Autry
President: Karole Campbell
Vice President: Bob Goss
Treasurer: Steve Dufaud
Secretary: Karen Heun

Board Members Present: John Autry, Karole Campbell, Bob Goss, Steve Dufaud, Karen Heun, Gentry Copelin, Jessica Duru, Ty Taylor, Blair Burns, Shelly Shepard, Tom Stewart

Absent: Tom Perkins

Quorum: Yes

Discussion and Action:

Two new applications have been received: Daniel Kennedy of Basic Bible Guide, and Deanna Thompson of Fyxon.

Daniel Kennedy is applying for the category of Non-profit. He has requested reduced dues in light of that status. Daniel works for a company designed to educate people in about the Bible. He will be invited to interview at our next board meeting.

Deanna Thompson is applying for the cleaning category in the group. It was noted that she is not the owner of the company, and that there was significant crossover with another member. A motion was made by John Autry and seconded by Ty Taylor that we do not invite her to interview at this time. All present voting members agreed.

Other business:

Steve Dufaud and Karen Heun submitted their time studies and job descriptions to the board so that there could be a discussion of compensation for each. They were dismissed for a conversation and upon their return the following was presented. First, in order to provide compensation to the treasurer the bylaws must be changed and secondly any changes to the bylaws must be presented to the members for a vote.

Breakfast prices were increased to $27 per person. In order to cover the cost for that it was voted on that the dues would increase to $325.00 per quarter.

The budget for the Christmas party was discussed and will be the same as last year.

Our next meeting will be December 17, 2024.
