Membership: Liam Kays of Kay’s Electric interviewed by the board for the Electrician position in the group. Following discussion, a motion was made by Greg Jones to approve him as a new member, his motion was seconded by Tom Perkins. All present members voted in favor, none opposed. Karen to notify Tom Stewart who will notify Liam.
Attendance: Two members need a call regarding attendance. Tom Perkins will reach out to XaioXaio Corbell, and Karen Heun will reach out to Matt Palis.
Financials: Steve will be contacting members who are currently behind on their dues. No assistance from the board is required at this time.
Guests: Gene Gustafson, of Prestige Photography by Gene, was brought by Andrew DeJoy. Gene is interested in becoming a member and will be submitting his application this week. Liam Kats of Kats Electric attended as a guest of Tom Stewart. Liam has submitted his application and will be interviewed today for membership. Our third guest today was Nicole Blish of Questco, she was brought to answer any questions that came up during Sierra Silverberg’s presentation today.

GRAND OPENINGS: Dave Hammond & his wife Nicole are opening a storefront for the Window Covering Gallery called “Love Your Space.” Open house will be July 30th between 4pm-7pm. Candy Harman has opened a new gym at 2360D Montebello Square Drive. It is called Peak Performance Fitness & Yoga, they will be having their grand opening on Saturday, August 1st between 11am-2pm.

Membership: Erin Jensen was interviewed at the in-person board meeting, however due to not having a quorum, an email vote was sent to the board members. A motion to approve his membership was made by Tom Perkins and seconded by Ty Taylor at the meeting. All board members listed as responding voted to approve. Motion carries. Karen to notify John Autry of the approval so he can reach out to Erin and update the website.

Membership: An interview was conducted with Erin Jensen of Jensen Law, P.C. who is applying for the Lawyer category in the group. He is sponsored by John Autry. Members present feel he would be a good fit for the group. A motion was made by Tom Perkins to accept him as a new member, seconded by Ty Taylor. All voting members present voted affirmatively. Though we cannot officially confirm his membership without an email vote due to not being at Quorum. Karen to send out an email to the board for votes from the members not in attendance.
We have (4) member who are in violation of the attendance policy per bylaws. Tom Perkins will send them a letter and follow that up with a phone call.
