Financials:
No concerns at this time with financial reports. 

Membership: 

Bob Goss to address members who are not attending or sending a substitute from their company. One member Tyler Shull, to be dismissed from the group for lack of attendance. 

Amy Kingery has submitted her application to assume the position held by Randy Geving of Higgenbotham Insurance. Concerns over services that they provide and overlapping current members. 

Old business: 

Bob Goss requested that the board review the membership section in the bylaws and bring any suggestions for revision to our next scheduled meeting. 

Our next meeting will be August 19, 2025.

Announcements:

We really enjoyed our meeting at OS Office/OS Schools. The breakfast was great, and it was so good to see all the options they offer for furniture in your facility. Thank you, Mark Copelin, for hosting us!

Board elections were held today for service from July 2025-June 2026. We appreciate all who ran. The winners were: John Autry, Mark Copelin, Tom Stewart, and Rick Ward. Congratulations! Putting you right to work, there will be a board meeting next week. Please set time aside on the 3rd Tuesday following the meeting for our board meetings.

Announcements:

The El Paso Club is having work done, so on July 8th we will be meeting at OS Office/OS Schools at 4110 High Country Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80907.

Our other Guest was Drew Elwell, the intern at Bennco Advisors brought by Brian Bennett. He attends C.U. Boulder.

We still need Board nominations. As always, if you want to nominate someone, please ask them if they would like to serve before writing their name on the nomination form. If you would like to serve, write your name down when the sheet is passed around at the meetings. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday following the meeting.

Discussion and Action:

Email Vote for Membership: 
An email vote was conducted regarding Ty Taylor membership. Ty has resigned from Sun State Equipment and accepted a job with Republic Services. He will be responsible for gaining commercial accounts for the company. They also do residential trash services. 

A motion was made to approve his membership by Bob Goss and seconded by Steve Dufaud. All other respondents noted above approved.

Ty will begin his position on July 7th.  

Our next meeting will be July 15, 2025.

Discussion and Action:

Bob Goss was present to call the meeting to order but had to leave due to a family emergency and was not present for the interview or to vote on Nick West’s membership. 

Financials: 
We are looking great with no concerns at this time. 

Membership: 
Nick West of Solar Guard was interviewed by the board today. After discussion a motion was made by Steve Lebel to approve his membership, this was seconded by Steve Dufaud and all voting members present approved. Karen Heun to notify him of his acceptance.

Our next meeting will be July 15, 2025.

Today was Neil Arthur’s last day in the group. He is moving out of state to be close to family. He is still available by phone to help anyone who needs him and will be back in Colorado Springs from time to time.

Ray Whitcomb brought Chris Burch (his general manager) who works with him at Junk Removed Now. Chris will substitute for him when he can’t attend. Terry Tanner brought Jorrell Bray to breakfast this morning. Paul Hasty brought Raj Azsikari of Shri Ganesh. Raj expressed interest in joining the group.

Hope everyone saw the invitation I sent out last week for Randy Geving’s retirement party. It is on June 25th between 5-7pm. Amy Kingery will be joining the group as Randy’s successor in our group.

Dr. Jeff Tidswell, My Eye Doctor, has announced that he will be retiring as of September 26, 2025. He is still in process of determining if his replacement is interested in representing them in the group.

Mike Bucher brought Alex to breakfast this morning, great to see you Alex!

Randy Geving announced that he is retiring effective June 30, 2025. He has invited the Prospectors to his retirement party on June 25th between 5-7pm. More information to follow. He brought Amy Kingery to the meeting as she would like to continue as Higgenbotham’s member in the group.

Discussion and Action:

Financials: 
We are looking great with no concerns at this time. 

Membership: 
We have a few members with attendance concerns that Bob Goss will be reaching out to before our next board meeting. 

Jennifer Gates of Johnson Storage & Moving was interviewed by the board at the meeting today. Jennifer is the Director of Business Development. She is sponsored by Cindy Senger. After the interview Karole Campbell made a motion to accept her into the group, seconded by Greg Jones. All voting members agreed. Bob Goss to reach out to both Jennifer and Cindy with the decision. 

Attendance:

There have been several members that violate the bylaws regarding attendance. It was discussed that the board look at the paragraph relating to attendance and offer thoughts on possibly rewriting the policy. Those thoughts would be submitted at the next board meeting.

Our next meeting will be June 17, 2025.
