Discussion and Action:
Financials: Looking good. Request was made to find out if we can pre-pay the El Paso Club for future meetings.
Membership: Will focus on categories to add to the group next year. Also focusing on attendance. There are several members in violation of the attendance policy who have not improved, and their membership will be terminated. The board will get an email from Bob Goss for a motion to proceed.
Guests: Karole Campbell brought Eliza Hill of “Sherwood Showdown” to breakfast today. Heather Smith brought her employee, Faith Sparrow, who will attend for her when she is unable to attend.
Chris Waldron is retiring January 1st. He is currently working on the new owner to assume his membership but wasn’t certain. So, if you know any best-in-class photographers who would like to join our group, bring them to a meeting. He is still doing pictures for our website during December, if you need one…call him quickly!
We held our nominations for the new board members today. Our newest board members are Tom Perkins-President, Bob Cook-Vice President, general board members are Jessica Duru, Jason Leimkuhl, and Ray Whitcomb. They will all serve from January to December 2026. As a reminder we meet on the third Tuesday of every month.
Our continuing board members, John Autry, Mark Copelin, Tom Stewart, and Rick Ward will serve till June 2026.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Jay Dahlberg, Steve Lebel, and Heather Smith for their service to the board this year. We appreciate all you have done for the Prospectors Association.
We still have openings for the 2026 Craft Talks. My next opening will be in July. If you are interested in serving as a replacement should anyone need to reschedule, let me know by email at secretary@prospectorsassociation.com.

Discussion and Action:
Nick West missed the meeting today due to medical reasons. The board acknowledged the absence.
Nine letters were sent to members with the most violations for attendance according to the bylaws. Each one responded favorably. Will continue to monitor. The board will start monitoring fresh next year and each quarter will be evaluated individually.
We are still looking for nominations for the board next year.
Our condolences go out to Karole Campbell & her father Paul for the loss of their mother and wife. Paul was a faithful member of our group for years. The Prospectors have been invited to her memorial service which will be held in Chipita Park at Marcroft Hall on October 25th from 1-4 p.m. The address is: 9105 Chipita Park Rd, Cascade, CO 80809.
